Port Macquarie airport, then
by car to the resort
By Car: Port
Macquarie is approx. 5 hours drive
from Sydney, follow the Pacific Highway
north to the second Port Macquarie
turnoff. Follow Hastings River Drive
along until you come the Village
Resort on your right hand side. The
resort is 7 kms from the town centre. |

five hectares and includes 32
Polynesian style bungalows, each
accommodating eight people. The
bungalow provides totally self
contained accommodation. Open
plan living, spacious lounge
/ dining room, fully equipped
kitchen and adjacent laundry.
There are two ground floor double
bedrooms, each with en-suite
facilities (one spa bath). A
pine staircase leads to a timber
lined loft incorporating recreation
area with television and four
beds. Each bungalow has its own
ISD/STD telephone.
Central feature of the resort is a one hectare salt water lagoon
for swimming, boating and windsurfing, complete with island
and palm fringed beach. |

Getting
There

Driving
from Sydney, take
Pacific Highway (No.1)
north to Buladelah and
turn right at Lakes Way
to Forster/Tuncurry,
approx 300 kms ( 4 hours
drive). Continue past
Smiths Lake and Pacific
Palms to Forster. Cross
the bridge to Tuncurry
and continue through
the shopping centre.
Chapmans Road is the
third street on the left
past The Oasis service
station, continue down
the road to the resort
gates.
If driving South, turn
left at the Forster/Tuncurry
turn off past Taree and
continue 20kms until you
see the Tuncurry Lakeside
Village sign on the right.
Chapmans Road is the next
turn right. |
