Free Holiday
With timeshare,
members choose when to have their vacation at a
selected home resort or exchange resort. So, what
is it that makes it different from a conventional
holiday? A timeshare holiday unit is usually
equipped with kitchenette, thus members treat
their holiday resort as a home away from home.
Members can also avoid the tight schedule of tour
holidays, thus having the opportunity to holiday
at their own pace.
Low Maintenance vs Owning Vacation Home
Giant
companies usually have corporate vacation homes or
resorts. Unfortunately, these properties are not
utilised every day of the year. Regardless, these
companies still need to hire fulltime labour to
take care of the place and this is very costly The
same goes for individuals who own holiday homes.
Timesharing is the perfect alternative for the two
groups. For example, individuals can purchase a
single membership while companies can purchase 10
to 20 memberships for their staff.

Savings
Timeshare
members easily save about 60 to 70 per cent of their future
vacation costs for the duration of their membership. Take this for
an example: An average timeshare membership (one-off payment) cost
RM10,000 for a validity period of 30 years. This means for every
year, a member pays RM333 for a seven-day accommodation for an
average of four people. If calculated further, this brings the
figure to about RM12 per person per day.

Hedge
Against Inflation
About
17
years ago, one may get to stay at a five-star hotel for only
RM80 per night while today, it costs about RM200 for the
same room may cost RM350. With a timeshare membership, you
are actually paying for your accommodation upfront, thus
securing an all-time low price.
Hedge
Against Currency Fluctuation
Even
wealthy people are weary about vacationing overseas due to
currency fluctuation. With a timeshare membership, one gets
to exchange entitlements with an international organisation
affiliated to a local company, such as Resort Condominiums
International or Interval International. Thus, vacationing
in England in 10 years time will still cost the same as it
would on the day one purchases a timeshare membership. |
